Beliefs

Since you are a blogger with a creative side (painting, poetry, and design) and a busy mom, your "Beliefs" page doesn't have to be a stiff, formal theological document. It can be personal, warm, and reflective of your daily walk with Jesus.

Here are three different options ranging from conversational to structured. You can mix and match these to fit the "vibe" of your blog.

Option 1: The "Heart-Centered" Version

This version is written in a narrative style. It connects your faith to your creativity and your role as a mom, making it feel very personal.

My Faith Foundation

Welcome! While I love sharing about my life, my studies, and my creative projects here, the most important thing about me is my faith. I am a Christian, and my relationship with Jesus Christ is the anchor for everything else I do.

The Word

I believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. Personally, I stick to the King James Version (KJV). It’s my roadmap for life, parenting, and finding peace in a chaotic world.

Jesus & Salvation

I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again, and that salvation is a gift of grace, not something I can earn. I’m definitely a work in progress, but I am so thankful for His forgiveness and guidance.

Church & Worship

I believe in the power of the local church. Whether I’m there in the pews or tuning into the livestream while managing life at home, being part of a body of believers is vital. I also love worshiping through music—you’ll usually find me listening to Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) while I’m studying or painting!

Prayer

I believe prayer changes things. It’s an ongoing conversation throughout my day—sometimes it’s a quiet moment in the morning, and sometimes it’s a quick plea for patience in the middle of the afternoon chaos!

Option 2: The Structured List (Clean & Scannable)

Since you are a design student, you might appreciate a layout that is visually clean and easy to read quickly.

What I Believe

If you’re new here, I want to share the core beliefs that shape my worldview and this blog:

  • The Bible: I believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word. I exclusively use the King James Version (KJV) for my study and devotions.

  • Salvation: I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9).

  • The Power of Prayer: I believe God listens to us. Prayer is my lifeline for mental clarity, strength, and gratitude.

  • Community: I believe in the importance of the local church for fellowship and spiritual growth.

  • Worship: I love praising the Lord through music and creativity.

Option 3: Short & Sweet (For a Sidebar or "About Me" section)

If you don't want a whole separate page, you can put this blurb on your main profile.

My Faith

I am a follower of Jesus, a lover of the KJV Bible, and a believer in the power of prayer. My faith gets me through the ups and downs of motherhood and student life. Whether I'm worshiping to Christian music or watching Sunday service online, my heart belongs to the Lord.

"What else could I say?"

Since you asked for ideas on what else to include, here are a few things that fit your background that you might consider adding:

  1. Creativity as Worship: Since you are an artist (painting/drawing) and a Digital Multimedia Design student, you could mention that you believe creativity is a gift from the Ultimate Creator, and you use your talents to honor Him.

  2. Family Values: You can mention that you are raising your children (ages 14, 9, and 7) to know and love the Truth.

  3. Grace for the Journey: Since you've been open about mental health and the busyness of being a SAHM/student, you could add a line about how God's grace meets you in your weakness.

  4. Favorite Verse: It is very common to put a favorite KJV scripture at the bottom of a beliefs page. (e.g., Philippians 4:13 or Proverbs 3:5-6).

Would you like me to help you select a specific Bible verse that matches the theme of your blog to put at the bottom of this page?

"The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

— Jeremiah 31:3 (KJV)
